Our Product;
Each one of our 38 rooms has been individually designed with painstaking attention to comfort and luxury. Rooms are named, not numbered and feature sumptuous four poster beds, the finest Egyptian cotton sheets, and oversized marble bathrooms. Many bathrooms feature claw footed Victorian baths, partner showers or opulent oversized baths for two.
All rooms stock Temple Spa toiletries, an embossed Alexander House robe and slippers, en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, colour television, direct dial telephone, room safe and DVD Players. Our rooms have the added luxury of Tea and Coffee making facilities and Mini Hi-fi systems.
Our Service;
Each room is thoroughly cleaned and presented to the highest possible standard whether a guest is arriving or staying over in the hotel for a number of days. In the evening we offer a traditional turndown service from 6pm-9pm.
Arrival rooms are available for guests from 3pm

The Vacancy;
We are seeking someone to support our dedicated Head Housekeeper in the supervision of employees to ensure all rooms, bathrooms/shower rooms are cleaned and presented to the highest standards. In addition all public areas of the hotel including guest cloakrooms, our Library, Drawing Room and Reception area are cleaned and maintained throughout the day to ensure an excellent impression at all times.
Our housekeeping staff commence work at 8am weekdays and 9am at weekends and work through until 3.30/4pm. Our turndown staff return in the evening between 6pm-9pm to offer evening housekeeping service to our guests.
You will need to be well presented, a friendly, efficient and energetic worker with a real eye for details to ensure our standards are maintained.
This role is up to 5 days per week including weekend working, shifts from 8am-4,30pm.
Salary of £15,000 for a 5 day 40 hr week.
